Projects : Are they necessary ??

Hii guys !!!
This is another contemporary blog from me.
Projects are they really necessary for kids ??
Well, first let me tell you all what are academic projects. They are a collection of different files which discuss about a particular idea or issue. They are a student's hard work and usually based on extra-academic information. Students are given projects to 1) Test their comprehension and liking of the subject 2) Test how hard he worked to gather matter for a particular topic and 3) Test the input i.e. how did he present the project.
Almost all schools introduce projects which sometimes also form a part of their exam results. It is seen that projects are very good, especially for weak students who cannot score much in written exams, class tests, assignments and vivas. However, today i deliberately question on the efficacy of projects.
My point is that there can be some disadvantages as well.
1)No real test of IQ or EQ (Emotional Quotient)
2) Students do the projects for the sake of doing it-not because they like doing it. They never learn anything from it. Instead, they find it boring and a burden alongside such a vast syllabus
3) Searching for matter is damn difficult and more than 75% of the students don't know the art of putting it down.
4)Some students even  resolve to morally and even lawfully unfair means while doing a project. For example:

  •   C2D (sharing the hard work by different students so that work gets done easily. Teachers dont really come to know that work of one has been copied from another.
  • Patent rights are hampered also. Students illegally copy their work from others or information from internet without proper information.
5) Lastly and very important, the correction of the projects. It is seen that maximum marks are given to those who are either good in academics or those who 'butter' the teachers much. We are often taught by our parents to maintain good relationship with teachers as the home marks (projects) are in their control. Similarly, teachers also sometimes 'back off' a project or give undeserving marks to those who generally are misbehaving or in bad terms with him/her.
Hence, I don't really think projects are of much use in this generation. Please comment and you are all free to disagree ( I presented my version )

A New transformed Me....

Hello guys ! It has been about a whole year since I last blogged (or maybe more/ dunno not much good at maths :P)
What I'm talking about right now might seem utter bogus to you but mind you, such transformation can occur in you too...
Im not talking about physical transformations like those in those out-of-reality Sci-Fi stories or great bestsellers like the Lost Symbol or something......It maybe well as called as 'Mental Transformations'
As marked by my friend Mr. Mahapatra i used to be a total freak in my class going wild every now and then....scolded by teachers blah blah
But I felt an enormous change in my body
(Cant describe it folks...!!!)
The power of yoga and self-meditation has intoxicated within me and has started taken the toll
(For nerdos, yoga is an art of self curing diseases with the aid of various excercises...)
Yogaa made my body cool and mind fresh...
And i have had immense power to control myself in tricky situations like those of funny teachers and all sorts of childish behaviour. And all I owe to this yoga, 1st 15 minutes of my morning.
And more than that, to God, who helped me to accept the transformation, which initially was damn difficult.
And with all that, you have the perfect confidence and strength your body needs to carry on you throughout the day !!!

P.S. read more of blogs, especially the upcoming ones. They are good, atleast not as boring as this one is......!!
Thank you guys,
